Westlaw launched a new website in August 2019
Once you login to Westlaw, scroll down to the bottom of the page to find a range of guides to help you get the best out of your searching. From the user guides menu there is also a link to a range of videos.

A large, comprehensive legal online service including UK case law, legislation, the Legal Journals Index , some full-text journal articles and a current awareness service. Also includes EU cases and legislation and United States legal sources. Other international sources are included such as Australian and Canadian law.
If you are using Internet Explorer Version 9 and you are experiencing problems with certain features of Westlaw, this may be a browser compatibility issue. To ensure the site is compatible please go to your web browser Tools menu and select 'Compatibility View' which will place a tick beside it. Alternatively you could try using a different web browser such as Edge, Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or an later version of Internet Explorer.

Table of contents contains UK Statutes and Statutory Instruments alphabetically.
The Legal Journals Index database is included in Westlaw UK and contains brief abstracts and publication details of legal journal articles in around 450 journals published in the UK and in Europe.
Full text journal articles from Sweet and Maxwell include expert commentary.
European material includes cases, legislation, treaties, acts, parliamentary questions and the OJ L Serices. News and business information is drawn from thousands of sources, including Dow Jones and Reuters.
The current awareness service updated several times daily.
