Postgraduate Research and the Library
Methodical literature searching and making effective use of the Library's extensive collection of e-resources and databases is by far the most important aspect of the support we provide to researchers. We also help researchers access material that may not be available within our own collections, through services such as interlibrary loans, open access repositories, and the Get More Books scheme.
Beyond this core support, the Library is here to assist researchers at every stage of their research journey. While some of the areas highlighted below may be more specialist or only become relevant at particular points during an MRes, PhD, or academic career, we can provide advice, training, resources, and one-to-one support across a wide range of research-related activities at the time that you need it.
