Eresources

Eresources allow you to search across multiple sources at one time eg a range of journal articles. Some eresources are subject specific and provide more tailored results.

Eresource		Description
	ScienceDirect	Science database covering physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, health sciences, social sciences and humanities. Provides access to the SciVerse hub and Scopus, which can be searched for abstracts and limited full text.
	Web of Science	Access to the world’s leading scholarly literature in the sciences, social sciences, arts, and humanities and proceedings of international conferences, symposia, seminars, colloquia, workshops, and conventions.
	ProQuest Science Journals	This database is a definitive resource for students studying both the applied and general sciences. With coverage dating back to 1986, ProQuest Science Journals features over 1030 titles, with more than 760 available in full text. Search over 2.7M records, dating back to the mid 1980s.
	BBC Landmark Video Collection	From the depths of the oceans to the Antarctic Ice cap, from a firsthand view of evolution in animals and plants to Cretaceous Alaska and far-flung corners of the globe, the BBC Landmark Video Collection is your groundbreaking exclusive HD view into our natural world.
	Bioline International	A not-for-profit scholarly publishing cooperative committed to providing open access to quality research journals published in developing countries. Subject areas include crop science, tropical medicine, biodiversity, public health and international development.
	BioOne Complete	Full text access to titles from independent publishers focused in the biological, ecological, and environmental sciences.
	Digimap Complete Collection	Digimap is an online map and data delivery service. Digimap provides a number of collections, including Ordnance Survey, historical, geological, LiDAR and marine maps and spatial data.
	Environment and Sustainability	A range of handbooks on the topics of environment & sustainability.
	Environment Complete	A database of over 2100 journal titles, 820 of which are full text covering agriculture, ecosystem ecology, energy, renewable energy sources, natural resources, marine & freshwater science, geography, pollution & waste management, environmental technology, environmental law, public policy, social impacts and urban planning.
	GreenFILE	A bibliographic database (with some full text) of information about environmental concerns of particular interest to those engaged in agriculture, education, law, health and technology.
	Wildpro	The electronic encyclopaedia and library for wildlife covering the natural history, health and management of captive and free-ranging wild animals, the natural history of species of all mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibia to genus level, disease investigation, first aid and care of wild animals, nutrients, toxins and other chemicals, physical environment and habitat use.

	Animal Conservation	Animal Conservation provides a forum for rapid publication of novel, peer-reviewed research into the conservation of animal species and their habitats. Subjects covered include population biology, epidemiology, evolutionary ecology, population genetics, biodiversity, biogeography, palaeobiology and conservation economics. The journal is essential reading for conservation biologists, policy-makers and students.
	Biological Reviews	Biological Reviews covers the entire range of the biological sciences, presenting several review articles per issue.
	IBIS	IBIS publishes original papers, reviews and short communications reflecting the forefront of the research activity in ornithological science, but with special emphasis on the conservation, ecology, ethology and systematics of birds.

	New Scientist	A weekly science magazine that covers current developments, news, reviews and commentary on science and technology.
	Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences (PNAS)	PNAS is one of the world's most-cited and comprehensive multidisciplinary scientific journals, publishing more than 3,100 research papers annually.
	Science	Publishes the very best in research across the sciences, with articles that consistently rank among the most cited in the world.
