    An index of nursing and allied health articles.  Access to over 300 full text journals.

    One of the largest bibliographic indexes for health.  Full text for more than 1,450 journals indexed, covering medicine, nursing, the health care systemand pre-clinical sciences.

    Proquest Health and Medical collection.

    Cochrane Library
    Provides systematic reviews of clinical based evidence on the effectiveness of specific interventions.
    Your results will be a mixture of reviews and clinical trials. It will depend on your topic as to whether there will be a relevant review.

    Academic Search Complete
    A multi-disciplinary full text database of over 5,500 journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,500 journals.

    Mostly full text, this collection covers journal articles, monographs and theses on sport, sport medicine, fitness and related disciplines.

    Science database covering physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, health sciences, social sciences and humanities.

    Interactive 3D anatomy resource.

    NICE is an independent organisation responsible for providing national guidance on promoting good health and preventing and treating ill health. Access national clinical guidelines here.

    A search engine from the NHS for health & social care professionals, providing access to evidence-based health information. 

    Physiotherapy evidence database - PEDro
    PEDro is a free database of over 20,000 randomised trials, systematic reviews and clinical practice guidelines in physiotherapy. 

    CASP - Critical Appraisal Skills Programme

    Helps you to find and interpret the best available evidence from health research by providing some useful check lists.
