  • Support using Microsoft Ease of Access

Welcome to the Microsoft Ease of Access support area.

Setting up your PC to make it more accessible takes only a few steps. Most Ease of Access options are available in Settings. Select the Start button, then select Settings  > Ease of Access.

Ease of Access options can help make it easier to:

    • Use your PC without a display. Narrator lets you hear audio descriptions for elements on the screen, like text and buttons.

    • See what's on the screen. Make the content on your screen bigger using Magnifier, or use high contrast mode.

    • Use your keyboard. Turn on Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys, Filter Keys, or the On-Screen Keyboard.

    • Use your mouse. Change the pointer size, or turn on Mouse Keys to use your keypad to move the mouse.

    Have you tried using Cortana?

Cortana is your digital agent. She'll help you get things done.

The more you use Cortana, the more personalized your experience will be.

To get started, type a question in the search box, or select the microphone  and talk to Cortana. (Typing works for all types of PCs, but you need a mic to talk.)

If you’re not sure what to say, you’ll see suggestions on your lock screen, and in Cortana home when you select the search box on the taskbar.

Here are some things Cortana can do for you:

    • Give you reminders based on time, places, or people.

    • Track packages, teams, interests, and flights.

    • Send emails and texts.

    • Manage your calendar and keep you up to date.

    • Create and manage lists.

    • Chit chat and play games.

    • Find facts, files, places, and info.

    • Open any app on your system.
