Updated January return to campus and pre-book your on-campus COVID test

Graduation 2020: Whilst we have had to postpone our 2020 graduation ceremony events it remains our intention to hold ceremonies in person when it is safe to do so. We continue planning for 2021 graduation ceremonies, subject to advice and guidance from the Government and we will be in touch with all eligible students to update you further regarding your graduation ceremony as soon as we are able to.

  • Summer 2021 and Postponed 2020 Ceremonies

    Due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation we are not in a position to currently confirm any upcoming or postponed graduation ceremonies.

    We continue to work hard on making your graduation celebrations happen safely and in line with all current government advice.

    All graduating students will be notified as soon as we have new dates.

  • Research Degree Ceremonies

    Research students on the University of Cumbria research degrees attend graduation ceremonies at Carlisle Cathedral in either July or November. Further information can be obtained from Sonia Mason in the Graduate School: graduateschool@cumbria.ac.uk or please email ceremonies@cumbria.ac.uk.

    Research students on the Lancaster University pathway (registered before April 2019) attend graduation ceremonies at Lancaster University in December. Further information can be obtained from Sonia Mason in the Graduate School: graduateschool@cumbria.ac.uk.
