This is an indicative list of available audio/visual equipment available from the Ambleside library. You will need your Cumbria Card to borrow items.
Note: Cameras and camcorders may need charging before use. For some, you will need to supply your own batteries and you will need to supply your own memory card - contact your library for details. Audio recorders/dictaphones and Reader Pens may need charging before use.
Borrowed items will appear in the My Loans area of OneSearch. AV Equipment will autorenew unless it has been requested by someone else. If you cannot return a requested item, please contact the library as soon as possible.

USB Memory Card Reader
The Jabra Speak 410 MS is an USB audio conference speaker that is conpatible with Skype for Business. It allows you to set up audio conference meetings / group chats using a PC or laptop.
The libraries stock a range of digital audio recorders. They all do approximately the same thing - record audio at close range for interviews or audio note taking. These recordings can then be transferred to laptop, PC or Mac using either a memory card or a USB cable.
