Students' Union
All students, regardless of the campus they are at, have access to and are members of the Students’ Union. The main Students’ Union offices are based at Lancaster, Fusehill Street Carlisle and Brampton Road Carlisle.
The University of Cumbria Students’ Union Support Service is part of the Students’ Union Information and Advocacy Department and provides free, honest, impartial and independent information, advice and advocacy for students on a range of issues including University academic issues, housing, health and well-being. No issue is too big or too small so feel free to get in touch with the Students’ Union with any worries that you might have.
RARA (Rules and Regulations Awareness) is a University of Cumbria Students' Union campaign that was created as a proactive way of informing students about regulations in order to try to prevent you making a mistake in the first place. RARA can be read in conjunction with the Academic Regulations and sections on Appeals, Malpractice and Extenuating Circumstances within the Assessment and Examinations areas on the website.
Staff within the Students’ Union would also be able to provide personal advice and support for you, all students can access UCSU Advice Service information online. Please see the Students’ Union website for further information.
