Healthy Relationships Training FAQ's
Getting Started
Is this training mandatory?Yes. The Office for Students, who govern UK Universities, mandated that higher education providers must implement comprehensive policies addressing harassment and sexual misconduct to ensure a safe learning environment for students. As part of this condition, the University agreed that all students starting a new course as of 1st August 2025, must complete three short courses as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive university community.

Technical Issues
Can I complete this on my phone?Technically, yes, via the Blackboard app or phone web browser. However, for the best experience. we recommend using a tablet, desktop or laptop.
To resolve the issue. Try these steps:
-
Switch Browsers: Blackboard loves Google Chrome, Edge and Firefox. Avoid Safari or Internet Explorer if possible.
-
Disable Pop-up Blockers: The training often opens in a new window. If your browser blocks pop-ups, the course will never launch.
-
Clear your Cache: Sometimes old data gets in the way. Clear your browser's cache and try again.
