What is TogetherAll?
TogetherAll is a safe, anonymous online community where students support each other 24/7. It's like a virtual common room for mental health - open anytime, anywhere and compliments the University's own Health and Wellbeing Service.
Here's what you'll find inside:
- Peer Support: Connect with others who get what you’re going through.
- Professional Moderation: Mental health professionals keep the space safe and supportive.
- Self-Help Tools: Explore courses, resources, and tips to boost your well-being.
- Creative Expression: Share your thoughts through art and writing.
Best part? It’s completely free for you. Log in, join the conversation, and take care of your mental health on your terms.

Crisis Help
I'm in Crisis right now
If there is a threat to life - call 999 for emergency help.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger of hurting themselves or others, or appear to have lost all sense of reality:
Go directly to the Accident & Emergency (A&E) department at your local hospital. They will have a mental health liaison team who will be able to assess your situation and provide appropriate support.
Call 999 to request an ambulance if you are unable to reach the hospital yourself. Paramedics not only deal with physical health emergencies, but also mental health emergencies too.
If you are feeling distressed and need urgent support:
Contact your GP surgery to request an emergency appointment.
Alternatively, call the free NHS medical line on 111 and select the mental health option. You can also get help via NHS 111 online.
Residents of Lancaster, Morecambe and South Cumbria (including Ambleside & Barrow) can call the 24 hour helpline 0800 013 0710
Residents of North Cumbria can call the 24 hour helpline by calling NHS 111 and selecting the mental health option.
Living elsewhere? Find your local mental health services here.
You can call the Samaritans on 116 123 to talk to someone at any time, day or night.
For non-urgent mental health concerns book an appointment with one of our Mental Health Practitioners or contact us via the Student Enquiry Point.
