#rowbritannia and help us raise money for #sportrelief2020

The university is participating in a national Sport Relief challenge #rowbritannia and we need YOU to get involved.

From Monday 2 March until Friday 13 March, static rowing machines will be stationed in key locations across all our campuses (details below) and, where practical, a rowing machine will be provided in a quiet area for our shy and retiring rowers.

Row Britannia is encouraging students and staff to unite and row 2020 miles collectively for mental health and raise £3,000 for Sport Relief over the two-week period.

How can I get involved?

  • Join our University of Cumbria team, set yourself a rowing challenge and get friends and family to sponsor you
  • Visit one of our rowing stations, row a mile and donate £1 in our #rowbritannia charity bucket
  • Support our University of Cumbria team and sponsor a colleague to row your mile for you

Row in fancy dress or your pyjamas if you feel like it, it’s all about having fun and raising money for a great cause.

Look out for rowing stations (details below) and come and join members of our exec team as they join in the challenge.

Share your progress on Instagram and make sure to tag #rowbritannia and #cumbriauni
