University Services and Facilities over Easter
Whilst the core University services will be not be available during the University’s period of closure, the Student Enquiry Point is available to signpost you to useful resources. If you still need help and submit a query, you will receive a response after the university reopens on Tuesday 22nd April 2025.
University online systems such as Blackboard, email, OneDrive, Student Hub, Staff Hub, Ask a Librarian, OneSearch and the University website will be available through the break.
Please be aware that if you try to contact any of the core University services via email or telephone, you will not receive a response until the university reopens on Tuesday 22nd April 2025. These include student and support services such as:
- Careers and Employability Service
- Catering Facilities
- The Chaplaincy
- Disability Support
- IT Services, incl. IT Service Desk
- Library Services - please see specific opening hours here.
- Mental Health and Wellbeing Service
- Money Advice
- PAd (programme administration)
- Research, Knowledge Exchange and Graduate School
- Skills@Cumbria
- Uoc Active/Sports Facilities - The sports facilities in Carlisle, Lancaster and Ambleside will be closing at 10pm on Thursday 17th April. All facilities re-open on the 22nd April. Our Partner facilities will be open during our Easter closure. Check the Salt Ayre and Better leisure websites for more details.
