Carlisle Cathedral (main venue)

The ceremony will take place in Carlisle Cathedral (main venue). Entry to view the ceremony is by ticket only - see Booking Information & Tickets.

A Cathedral is a building for Christian worship and Carlisle Cathedral welcomes visitors of all traditions and faiths. Carlisle Cathedral is used as a venue during graduation week and no formal worship takes place during the Degree and Award ceremonies.

Fratry

Gown collection, ticket collection and lining up takes place in the Fratry which is located on the Cathedral grounds. 

Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery

The ceremony will be streamed to the Lecture Theatre at Tullie House Museum & Art Gallery enabling guests to watch the ceremony live via the screen. Entry to the Live Video Link is by ticket only - see Booking Information & Tickets.

Crown & Mitre Hotel

Photography, gown return, the celebratory reception and Student Union merchandise stand will all be situated in the Crown & Mitre Hotel.
