International welcome events

This year, our International Induction and Registration event will take place on your campus of study.

This will be a time to meet your new coursemates, support staff, and some academic staff. You will get to know your campus and new surroundings, and of course enjoy a free hot lunch! We will give you information such as: how to open a bank account, how to register with a GP, how to protect your visa at university, and how to manage your money.

This will also be your chance to register as a University of Cumbria student with our International Admissions team, as is required for your visa.

You should receive information about your Induction and Registration event via email after your CAS has been issued, including the date, time, and location of the event. Please ensure you are up to date with any emails sent from the University about your arrival.
