We’re excited to welcome you to the University of Cumbria’s Fusehill Street campus, your new home in the heart of Carlisle, a city rich in history, culture, and natural beauty. Welcome Week is all about helping you settle in, meeting your tutors and fellow students, and exploring everything our campus and community have to offer.
From course introductions to engaging social events like the UCSU Welcome Fair, games nights, and local excursions, there’s something for everyone. Whether you're joining us for Nursing, Paramedic Science, Education, or another inspiring programme, this week is designed to help you feel confident, connected, and ready to begin your university journey.

See where you’ll graduate, spend time in this sacred and historic space, receive a blessing (optional), meet one of the Canons and chat in the Cathedral café.
