When will I be informed of the outcome of my EC claim?

Students will receive confirmation following the panel as to the outcome of thier EC, They will be notified if it been deemed Valid or not Valid. This outcome will then be taken to the Module Confirmation Board (MCB) and University Progression and Award Board (UPAB) where the outcome and offer or confirmation will then be displayed on your Statement of Results and on ICON along with any action you need to take.

The recommendation from the panel will likely note: EC (Valid) or EC (NOT Valid)

Following the Board the information on your statement or results and in ICON , will note the outcome of the panel as above and then followed by an assessment recommendation or action if Valid , in case where the EC is EC(Not valid) either your mark achieved if you have submitted, reassessment if it is to be offered or confirmation of failure.
