Event Overview
Join the Chaplaincy for a quiet and welcoming session focused on Centering Prayer, a simple practice of silent, contemplative reflection. This session offers an opportunity to pause, slow down and enjoy some peaceful time away from the busyness of Welcome Week.
Centering Prayer is a form of silent prayer that encourages stillness, openness and reflection. You don’t need any previous experience of prayer or meditation to take part, and there’s no expectation to have a particular faith or religious background.
Whether you already have a regular prayer practice, are curious to explore contemplative prayer, or simply want to find a quiet space to unwind, you’re very welcome to join us. The session will provide a calm environment where you can take some time for yourself and connect with others in a relaxed setting.
All students are welcome to drop in. Come along, take a breath and enjoy a moment of quiet during Welcome Week.
