Join the Chaplaincy Team for a walk to Rydal Hall, taking in the beautiful Cumbrian scenery along the way. We’ll enjoy some traditional Cumbrian tea and cake before exploring this historic house, now operating as a hotel and retreat centre.

Take time to discover Rydal Hall’s wonderful gardens, peaceful surroundings and beautiful chapel. Whether you’re interested in the history of the house, looking for a quiet place to reflect, or simply want to enjoy a walk and some good company, this is a chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and connect with others.

You’ll also have the opportunity to learn more about Rydal Hall and its offering for students, including its spaces for rest, reflection and retreat.
