The PCs within the PODS are bound to Azure which means that when you login you have to use "username@cumbria.ac.uk". If you use your usual login "firstname.lastname" you will be met with incorrect username and password.

I am unable to login to the POD PC?
-
It looks like someone else is still logged in when I have come to use the POD
When you log out of the PC your profile picture will be displayed as if you are still logged in, this is just graphical and nothing to worry about. Users will be able to login as themselves by clicking the button that says to login as other user (left hand side of the screen).

Devices in OBS haven't started up?
On the rare occasions that OBS doesn't start up the devices by default do the following:
- Within OBS find the Scenes tab (bottom left of OBS)
- Click the scene called Devices
- To the right will be a list of Sources
- Click the device in the list that isn't working
- Just above the sources tab will be a button labelled deactivate, click this button.
- The button will now be labelled activate, click this button
- The device should now be working

How do I return OBS to the UOC's default state
If you have tried to change the scenes or sources and have maybe changed your mind and want to go back to the default UOC look then close down OBS and re-open. It should be noted that no matter what you change in OBS the changes you make only effect your current OBS session.

When I have played back my recordings in the POD the videos sounds tinny
We advise that you use a headset to listen to your recordings if you are watching them back in the POD. The POD hasn't been fit with any specialized speaker because there would have been a high chance of interference with other devices which would have ruined the audio quality completely.

The background colors used in the OBS scenes aren't to my liking?
The background colors that have been used in OBS (white and pink) are one of the non campus specific color palettes, the white and pink were chosen to give everyone an initial starting point in OBS.
There is room for discussion to include more campus-based color palettes should there be a requirement.
