Money Advice over Christmas

Please note: We will not have the ability to process any student support fund applications during the University’s Christmas closure period which runs from 4pm on Tuesday 23rd December 2025 until Monday 5th January 2026.

During this period you can access money advice, guidance and support via the Money and Finance web pages. This web page includes links to the University Student Support Fund. If you submit an application during the closure period it will be processed after Monday 5th January 2026.

Emergency funding

If you need to access the University Student Support Fund, due to emergency financial pressures for travel home or subsistence, then please ensure to submit your completed application with an up to date bank statement before 5pm on Friday 12th December 2025. This will allow the Money Advice team sufficient time to process any last minute emergency requests and arrange payment to you before the University closes for the Christmas break.
