    Key eresources for Ultrasound

    Anatomy.TVInteractive 3D anatomy resource.

    SciVerseScience database covering physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, health sciences, social sciences and humanities. Provides access to the SciVerse hub and Scopus, which can be searched for abstracts and limited full text.

    Full text for more than 1,450 journals, covering medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

    Cochrane Library
    Provides systematic reviews of clinical based evidence on the effectiveness of specific interventions. Your results will be a mixture of reviews and clinical trials. It will depend on your topic as to whether there will be a relevant review.

    An index of nursing and allied health articles. Access to over 300 full text journals.

    Academic Search Complete
    A multi-disciplinary full text database of over 5,500 journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,500 journals.

    NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP) The website for the NHS Fetal Anomaly Screening Programme (FASP).  FASP sets standards and oversees implementation to ensure that pregnant women are offered screening are provided with high quality information so they can make an informed choice about their screening options and pregnancy.

    Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists A list of publications from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, including date of next review. Many can be downloaded as PDF files.

    Society of Radiographers The website for the Society of Radiographers, who represent the professional, educational and workplace interests of radiographers in the UK and overseas.

    Royal College of Radiologists The website of the Royal College of Radiologists. Their principal objectives are the study and advancement of the science and practice of oncology and radiology.

    British Institute of Radiology The website of the British Institute of Radiology, an independent multidisciplinary organisation, and a registered charity, whose membership is open to everyone with an interest in radiology and radiation oncology.

    British Medical Ultrasound (BMUS) Website of the British Medical Ultrasound Society.

    British Nuclear Medicine Society The journal, Nuclear Medicine Communications, is available here, as well as the society newsletter, awards and details about upcoming conferences.
