We have a useful tool to help you in your research called Libkey. Libkey provides several options for providing easy access to University of Cumbria library content from your device.  PLEASE NOTE Libkey Nomad only works on PC and laptops and not on mobiles and tablets.

Libkey Nomad will link to our purchased resources (journal articles and ebooks) wherever you find them on the Internet eg Pubmed, Amazon, Google Scholar, Google, Wikipedia.
To do this you need to make an addition or 'extension' to your web browser. Download the browser extension and select University of Cumbria when prompted. If you choose to install this extension you need to agree to any pop up messages.

Once installed you will have fast one-click access to our resources. Look for this icon popping up on your screen. It may take a few seconds for this icon to appear bottom left of your screen.

LibKey Nomad,

If the full text of an article is not available, you will be prompted to return to Onesearch for a possible inter-library loan request.

Direct access to pdfs of journal articles in OneSearch

Libkey also works within OneSearch providing a quicker more direct link to the full text of journal articles. Look for the ‘Download PDF’ link below each result.

You can also view other articles from the same issue of the journal which can be useful for looking for related material.
