    Interactive 3D anatomy resource.

    iRefer
    The seventh edition of imaging referral guidelines from The Royal College of Radiologists (RCR).

    ScienceDirect
    Science database covering physical sciences and engineering, life sciences, health sciences, social sciences and humanities. Provides access to the SciVerse hub and Scopus, which can be searched for abstracts and limited full text.

    Medline
    Full text for more than 1,450 journals, covering medicine, nursing, dentistry, veterinary medicine, the health care system, pre-clinical sciences, and much more. Uses MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) indexing to search citations from over 4,800 current biomedical journals.

    Cochrane Library
    Provides systematic reviews of clinical based evidence on the effectiveness of specific interventions. Your results will be a mixture of reviews and clinical trials. It will depend on your topic as to whether there will be a relevant review.

    CINAHL
    An index of nursing and allied health articles. Access to over 300 full text journals.

    Academic Search Complete
    A multi-disciplinary full text database of over 5,500 journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,500 journals.

    A selection of useful and reputable websites have been collected together for you here.  Obviously many more are available on the web but do make sure you evaluate all websites and any information you find in them before using them in your studies.


    British Nuclear Medicine Society
    The journal, Nuclear Medicine Communications, is available here, as well as the society newsletter, awards and details about upcoming conferences.

    Society for Radiological Protection
    The website of the Society for Radiological Protection, a registered charity who provide awards, student bursaries and scholarships to develop radiation protection professionals.  The society aims to promote the science and art of radiation protection, to disseminate knowledge and support relevant education and to promote high professional standards to the public benefit.

    Health Protection Agency - Centre for Radiation, Chemical and Environmental Hazards
    The HPA's Centre for radiation, chemical & environmental hazards provides expert advice on all aspects of radiological protection.
