DOES THE LIBRARY HAVE ACCESS TO THE ERESOURCE YOU REQUIRE?
If you are using the "Everything" search option in OneSearch you will get results for material the university library does not provide access to. If so, you can search for the title in Google Scholar to see if an open access copy is available. Alternatively, for a small charge you can submit an Inter Library Loan request and we'll get a copy from the British Library.
If you are using the "Articles & more" option in OneSearch you should have access to ALL the search results. If you encounter a problem note down the citation (title, author, journal, year, volume, issue, pages) and use the Journal A-Z to navigate to the material. Some browsers automatically block pop-up windows and this can cause problems with some resources, also some resources require plug-ins or extra software for your browser & if you block pop-ups you may miss the prompt to install particular software. Check your browser to see if you are blocking pop-ups, it should be easy to temporarily allow pop-ups when necessary or add the resource to your pop-up blocker. In IE Tools> Internet Options > Pop-Up Blocker Settings > Add the relevant website address.
e. If you use an Ad Blocker disable it for the site you are trying to access
f. Check in the browser settings that cookies are not blocked
